Today is a 12 mile day. We have to choose from three routes: the crazy high one that’s poorly marked, the moderately crazy one with views or the sane person’s route. I think we will miss a couple views.
The path today was almost all on a path next to a busy highway. There was not much to photograph.
The Camino Provides
We left Tina’s walking sticks at a stop 3.5 miles from our lodging. We were in a state because it seemed the alternatives were to A) take a taxi back to pick them up or B) buy new ones for the big uphill tomorrow. The gal who runs our lodging is having her cousin pick them up for us and we will have them here at 4:30 this afternoon, Tina was relieved and thankful!
When we got the sticks we offered to pay her for her trouble. She refused; only asked that we say a prayer for her when we get to Santiago.

Last evening was probably the best meal we had on the Camino. To revisit it one more time, this was one of the starters we had shrimp and octopus wrapped in cod

Tomorrow we are walking 5 miles to one of the highest points of the Camino. The good news is, the steep walk is a short and early day!
